Pysanky are Ukrainian eggs decorated in a wax-resist dye method.  Contrary to popular belief,  they are not just for Easter.   Creating pysanky has been practiced for centuries in the Ukraine –technique and designs are passed from generation to generation.  This is part of my heritage and occasionally I offer workshops to introduce others to this wonderful art form.  This year I’m offering only two workshops:  March 26th and April 2nd.  So if you would like to make your own special egg in time for Easter, please get in touch with me via FB, this blog, or the contact information on http://www.photographinglife.net/
