Radiance

When I schedule someone for a portrait session, I put a lot of thought into the location, posing, props and lighting long before I place the person in front of the camera.  Even though I have a studio at my disposal, I find myself drawn to unique locations that complement the beauty of the subject.

She is beautiful and a joy to photograph,  but what made this portrait exceptional was that she was surrounded by the “things” that matter most in her life:  a gorgeous baby grand piano in the crystal lobby of a theater, her Bible, and her five-year old son, who assisted me by being a  “stand” for by speedlight.

Beauty, with radiance . . . a photographer could not ask for more!  I am so grateful and lucky for the gracious clients I have the privilege of photographing.
